The Polish Baltic Philharmonic does not slow down. We co-organize the Gdańsk Music Festival, during which the PFB Orchestra will play twice (with pianist Daniel Ciobanu and opera singers associated with the sic itur ad astra foundation). We are crowning the Polish Music Stage series with concerts with the participation of Książek Piano Duo and the pianist Maciej Gański and violist Krzysztof Komendarek-Tymendorf. Musicians led by violinist Anna Bona will take younger and older music lovers to the land of Disney fairy tales. A unique family concert will also take place in the afternoon, with the participation of the PFB Orchestra conducted by Tadeusz Wicherek.

Special events require a unique opening - this is undoubtedly the case with the inauguration of the Gdańsk Music Festival co-organized by PFB, during which the Polish Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra will perform under the baton of its artistic director, George Tchitchinadze. The soloist is the great Romanian pianist Daniel Ciobanu. The program includes compositions by Gershwin and Beethoven. It's hard to imagine a better opening.

Co-organized by the Polish Baltic Philharmonic with the National Institute of Music and Dance, the Polish Music Stage series includes intimate meetings with music by Polish composers, performed by the best Polish artists. Piano Duo Books is a unique family piano duo that they form Krzysztof Książek and Agnieszka Zahaczewska-Książek. They have both been successfully playing as a duo for several years. The artists at Ołowianka will play compositions by Karol Szymanowski, Ignacy Feliks Dobrzyński, Ignacy Friedman, Juliusz Zarębski, Roman Maciejewski and Fryderyk Chopin.

Disney animations have been capturing the imagination for decades. The creators of cult animations were perfectly aware of how important music is to the film. In each fairy tale, they tried to create a hit that would not only win the audience's favor, but also compete for the highest awards, such as the famous Academy Awards, i.e. the Oscars. And these are universal and timeless songs about friendship, love and adventure, including: With The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Frozen or Moana will be performed by artists known to the Tricity audience. Under the leadership of a violinist Anna Bona renowned instrumentalists will play. Two Tricity actors will sing - Izabela Pawletko i Bogdan Smagacki.

Choirs rarely appear in the building of the Polish Baltic Philharmonic. A great opportunity to listen to one of the best Polish choirs - Polish Chamber Choir Schola Cantorum Gedanensis under the direction of her boss Jan Łukaszewski. The soloist is the director of the Polish Baltic Philharmonic himself prof. Roman Perucki, who will play on the organ in the Philharmonic. It is not often that the Polish Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra gives concerts with opera singers. However, we have never seen as many as six extremely talented soloists with almost all opera voices on one stage. This time, as part of the Gdańsk Music Festival co-organized by PFB, it is possible. Led by a conductor Daniel Smith from Australia, the Gdańsk Philharmonic will play together with sic itur ad astra foundation scholarship holders: Inma Hidalgo (soprano), Sandra Šarikovaitė (soprano), Eglė Wyss (mezzo-soprano), Chuan Wang (tenor), Šarūnas Šapalas (baritone) i Martin Mkhize (baritone). We will hear great opera works, including: Gioachino Rossini, Giuseppe Verdi, Giacomo Puccini and Erich Wolfgang Korngold.
