Lessons with the Masters – Louis Armstrong

Trumpet and jazz virtuosity

Jakub Semeniuk - trumpet
Monika Pionk – script and conducting of the concert

During the last lesson before the holidays, we will return to jazz, together with the outstanding American trumpeter and vocalist Louis Armstrong. His trumpet playing style was unique and his singing was innovative. It was he who introduced the so-called scat, i.e. an onomatopoeic vocal form typical of jazz. Armstrong is undoubtedly one of the greatest musicians of this genre in history. Everyone should know him. So you will hear his greatest hits, such as: Ramona, A Kiss to Build a Dream On, Hello Dolly and, of course What a Wonderful World, but not only that.
