Already on July 1 starts one of the oldest Europeans Organ Festival – 57th International Festival of Organ Music in Cathedral of Oliwa. Many years of tradition, captivating sound of the organ, wonderful performers and the beauty of the Oliwa Cathedral, attracts every year thousands of music lovers. This year's Festival program is also interesting. Concerts will be held every Tuesday and Friday from July the 1st to August the 26th in the Cathedral, at 20:00. You are welcome!

During 57 International Organ Music Festival we will hear several premieres.

July the 1st, at the opening of the Festival, Roman Perucki with the Symphony Orchestra of the Polish Baltic Philharmonic under the baton of the outsnanding Polish conductor Lukasz Borowicz perform "Metasinfonię for Organ, Strings and Timpani" by Sir Andrzej Panufnik (FIRST TIME IN GDANSK), in the 100th anniversary of the birth of this wonderful Polish composer.

German artist Hansjörg Albrecht, at July the 18th present project WAGNER-Pèlerinage - "Preludes and Overtures" by Richard Wagner, arranged for organ (THE FIRST TIME IN POLAND).

At August the 5th will take place WORLD PREMIERE of Giampaolo Di Rosa song "SARABANDE (2014)" performed by the composer. Another world premiere performance by Johannes Skudlika, song dedicated to him by Peter Wittricha: Concerto 2 "Pax".

August the 26th George Kukla will perform FIRST TIME ever the organ version of composition Bronislaw Kazimierz Przybylski "Jordan". In addition, during the concert George Kukla with the Polish Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra will present the, "Ninth Symphony" Feliks rarely performed in Poland. It will be both a concert in celebration of the 30th anniversary of artistic work of this artist.
