Roman Perucki
One of the most outstanding contemporary organists. He graduated from the Gdańsk Academy of Music in the organ class of prof. Leon Bator in 1986. He has been a professor at this university since 1997 (in 1996-1999 he was vice-rector for artistic affairs). Until 2020, he was the Head of the Department of Organ, Accordion, Harpsichord, Guitar and Harp.
Director of the Polish Baltic Philharmonic in Gdańsk. On his initiative, the Gdańsk Music and Congress Center was established, the current seat of the institution. He established the Secondary Secondary Music School in Gdynia, of which he was curator for 16 years. He also serves as the president of the Pomeranian Association Musica Sacra, with which he organizes, among others, International Organ Music Festival in Oliwa, International Organ Music Competition JP Sweelinck and organ festivals in churches in Gdańsk Pomerania. He conducts master classes in Europe and both Americas and lectures at schools and universities throughout Poland. He is a juror in international organ competitions and the author of the first Polish improvisation textbook.
He has already performed over 2800 recitals. He performed in the most famous cathedrals and concert halls in the world, including: at Notre Dame (Paris) or Mariinsky Theater (St. Petersburg). It occurs in almost all European countries, as well as in China, Japan, Australia, Mexico and the USA. He is the first organist of the Oliwa Archcathedral, and since 1999 the president of the Association of Lovers of the Oliwa Archcathedral.
Roman Perucki has released several music albums. His album with Messe pour les paroisses Couperin's publicist Music Movement considered it the best recording of 1991 released in Poland, a II Oliwa Plate was nominated for the Fryderyk award. His achievements include a platinum album from 1998. The artist has performed numerous premieres, composed especially for him by Paweł Łukaszewski, Grażyna Pstrokońska-Nawratil and Paweł Szymański, and in the last five years, organ and flute concerts with the orchestras of: Enjott Schneider, Joanna Bruzdowicz-Tittel, Piotr Moss, Paweł Mykietyn and Dariusz Przybylski .
He holds numerous distinctions and awards, including the highest papal distinctions awarded by John Paul II and Benedict XVI. In 2005 he obtained a gold badge Meritorious for Polish Culture. Then the Pomeranian Artistic Award for 2006 and the award of the Gdańsk Society of Friends of Art. He was also awarded the Silver Medal Gloria Artis for Merit to Culture.

The choir is an outstanding, professional choral ensemble with a unique tone, the highest technical skills and an unusually wide repertoire. The fame of the choir, which reaches aesthetic heights, has reached not only the most important concert halls in Poland, but also many significant music centers in Europe, North America and Asia. Polish Chamber Choir Schola Cantorum Gedanensis was created in 1978 on the initiative of Ireneusz Łukaszewski, who was its first artistic director. In 1983, the artistic management of the group was taken over by the founder's brother, Jan Łukaszewski.

Conductor and director of the Polish Chamber Choir, artistic director of the International Mozart Festival Mozartiana, lecturer of master classes, professor of musical arts - is considered one of the most outstanding specialists in the field of choral music in Europe.
Appreciating the artistic craftsmanship of the Polish Chamber Choir and its Director, contemporary composers, Polish and foreign (including Wojciech Kilar, Krzesimir Dębski, Edward Pałłasz, Krzysztof Penderecki, Paweł Łukaszewski, Andrzej Koszewski, Juliusz Łuciuk), have entrusted Jan Łukaszewski almost 650 times conducting world premieres of his compositions. He cooperated with, among others: with the choirs of the Polish Radio, the Krakow Philharmonic, the Wrocław Philharmonic and the Silesian Philharmonic. He performs as a conductor with such orchestras as: Sinfonia Varsovia, Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, Academy of Ancient Music, Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin and Venice Baroque Orchestra. In addition to the Polish Chamber Choir, he also runs the Pueri Cantores Olivenses Boys' and Men's Choir.
He gave concerts with his bands in almost all European countries, the United States, Canada, China and Japan. He sits on the jury of choral competitions, including: in Japan, Wales, Lithuania, Italy and Switzerland. He is also a juror in composition competitions in Poland, England, France, Germany and Italy. He made numerous recordings for PR and TVP (including 68 offers of the Palestrina GP), as well as for German radio and television stations. He has recorded over 80 CDs.
Thanks to his inspiration, the following events took place: International Symposia of Choral Music, Bach Days, Chopin Festival in Gdańsk, as well as subsequent editions of the International Mozart Festival Mozartiana. In 2018, Jan Łukaszewski was awarded the Officer's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta.
