Musical DIY! There are works in chamber literature in which the performance instruments depend on the circumstances of each performance. Despite great care in selecting actors musical work, many composers decided to leave it as it were ajar door for the instrumentalists of the future. When deciding that the trio could be performed in three or four combinations of instruments, the composer had to be sure that in each of them, his guiding ideas would sound sufficiently forceful.
What was the genesis of this type of composition and what significance does it have for today's performer? You will be able to find the answers to these and many other questions by immersing yourself in several excellent masterpieces of chamber music performed by young Gdańsk symphonists, accompanied by pianist Dominika Glapiak.
